Day 102 - Killington

Weather:34°, Sunny with Light Overcast

Trails:Upper Bunny Buster, Middle Chute, Lower Bunny Buster, Superstar, Upper Great Northern, Lower Rime, Lower East Fall, Spillway, Cascade Runout
Comments: On the hill at 9:00, skied alone and left at 10:30; Last day of the year for me; Tons of people there today after nobody all week?; Great season, I'm going to like retirement if all ski season's turn out like this one; Returned my Rossignol's at the Basin today. The edge seems to be working it's way loose from the base. The skis are still under warranty so it looks like I'll get a new pair!; TOD: Middle and Lower Superstar

Day 100 - Killington

Weather:33°, Foggy and Rainy with Thunderstorms

Trails:Mouse Run, Middle Great Northern, Middle Chute, Lower Chute, Killink, Lower East Fall, Bittersweet, Upper Skylark, Upper High Road, Snowshed, Highlander, Lower Bunny Buster
Comments: On the hill at 9:00, skied alone and left at 11:30; Thunder and lightning closed the lifts for 30 minutes or so at 9:45, so I had a quick cup of coffee before heading back out; Nobody on the hill, maybe 35-40 cars in the KBL lot when I left at 11:30; Frozen at the top, soft at the bottom, and anything that wasn't groomed was closed - and for good reason, I ducked a rope to ski Lower East Fall, big mistake. It was totally firmed up crap left over from the soft snow yesterday afternoon; TOD: Bittersweet - not great, just not a crappy as everything else

Comments: On the hill at 9:00, skied alone and left at 12:00; Nice morning, anything that wasn't groomed was really nice - still soft from yesterday with a little new snow on top; TOD: Header, but Chute and Great Bear first thing were a very close second.

Comments: On the hill at 8:00; skied the first few with Susan and Jay, left at 10:00 - had to clean up the apartment and drive home, besides today was 15 in a row; Still spectacular mid-winter conditions; TOD: Timberline - the features from the terrain park were all removed and the trail was groomed leaving tons of 'terrain'
