That’s it – I’m done! So much for that season – plenty of days, just very few good ones; On the hill today at 10:00; parked on the Access Road; skied the Volkl Katanas; 35° and mostly cloudy; Skyesweet was the only thing groomed and it was in excellent shape; my left knee is really hurting.
On the hill at 10:00; parked on the Access Road; another 6” of cement overnight – 33° and snowing lightly; tons of people out for the opening bell; plenty of new terrain open – K-1 opened at 11:30, but I had already done 9 runs, so I just called it a day; after things got skied in, SkyHighSweet was very good – smooth and soft;
On the hill at 10:00; parked on the Access Road; 31° and snowing hard – 4” new snow since 6 AM; skied the K2 Apache Xplorers; visibility was almost non-existent – had to wipe at the googles every 4 or 5 turns; very few people on the hill.
On the hill at 10:00; parked on the Access Road; skied the Volkl RaceTiger SL Cheaters; 30° and partly cloudy; they groomed a little too deep last night, so although conditions were very good for the first few runs it cut-up pretty quickly; very crowded today, so I did a few quick runs and left.
On the hill at 10:00; parked on the Access Road; skied the Atomic D2 Race GS #2’s; 29° and overcast with intermittent light flurries, enough snow overnight that I had to scrape the windshield this morning; despite the flat light, another stellar day on the glacier; by the time I left the sugar piled up a little bit at the bottom, but not a problem.
On the hill at 10:00; parked on the Access Road; skied the Volkl RaceTiger SL Cheaters; 40° and sunny; another spectacular day on the Superstar Glacier - it softened up as the morning wore on, but still 3F; very few people on the hill this morning – got a wave from Chelsea today as she stood talking with her mom in the liftline.
On the hill at 10:00; parked on the Access Road; skied the Atomic D2 Race GS #2’s; 35° and sunny; perfect mid-winter 3f conditions; skied hard for a couple of hours.
On the hill at 10:00 – 10:00 opening mid-week for the remainder of the season; parked on the Access Road; skied the K2 Apache Xplorers; 2” new snow overnight; 35° and partly cloudy; very nice morning – the new snow was mostly groomed in, this made it significantly softer and less chunky than the past few days; Tom skied for about an hour this monring - his first day in about a month.
On the hill at 8:00; parked on the Access Road; skied the Volkl RaceTiger SL Cheaters; 30° and sunny; skied until it chunked up; plenty of people on the hill this morning.
