On the hill at 9:00; parked in the Vale; skied the Atomic GS-12’s and had to change to the Volkl Racetiger SL Cheaters after the patch on the GS-12’s pulled out… Guess they’re trash now. Clear and very windy. I hit 66 mph today without tucking! Ok, I had a 40 mph tail wind, but I didn't tuck. Conditions were frozen solid; patches of ice everywhere. I got a kick out of skiing the ice patches at the top of both Superstar headwalls. Five days of rest did nothing to help my left knee… Maybe tomorrow will be better.
