Day 85 - Killington

On the hill at 9:00 with Tom; parked at K-1 and skied the Volkl RaceTiger SL World Cup’s. Overcast with temps in the twenties. Skied most of the mountain today. However, didn’t make it to the peak or Skyship base.  I find the slalom skis hard to ski at anything but full-tilt, short-radius turns.  Did 94 turns right down the middle of OL from the lip to slow sign. Just because.  Just before coffee I skied up on an accident involving Bob Sardelli.  Apparently he was flying off Superstar onto High Road when somebody skied out of the woods and they collided hard.  Other guy was generally OK, but Bob was unconscious for like 5 minutes.  Kevin Ture reported Bob broke his nose and had a cut over one eye that required six stitches, but is none the worse for wear.
