Day 68 - Killington

Parked at Snowdon; on the hill at 9:00; skied the Atomic D2 GS #2’s.  Overcast with very light snow; temperature in the mid-twenties.  Conditions were firm, flat, and fast; they groomed up lots of ice cubes on Highline, Cascade, Bear Trap, and the top of the bottom headwall on Superstar; otherwise conditions were pretty good – maybe it was just the skis. Eleven by eleven – 10 on fixed grip lifts. Twenty-two runs today and I only rode the chair/gondola with someone else once – obviously not many people on the hill today.  Phat Cat Challenge today – various big wigs from various ski areas got to see snowmaking and groomer demonstrations from maybe 15-20 vendors.
